BLACK COUNTRY MUSEUM PART 1

For those of you that read about my proposed day out today, the weather did hold out for us after all. Can you believe it!? It didn't rain all day! It just rained twice in the morning when i was at home.

So yes i took loads and loads of pictures, so i'm probably going to have to do this in 3 parts so i don't bore you all in one go with too much information lol.

So here it goes: Part 1

The Picture above is me and Evan in our hard hats ready to go into the the underground coal mine. Man was it scary! I didn't expect that at all!

This is the exit to it. You see how small the entrance is? Yep that was pretty much the Journey inside the coal mine. It was pitch black and we all had to have torches to see, as a tour guide took us around.

Lewis loved it. Look at him in his hard hat! Evan was ok until we had to turn off the torches so it was pitch black!

This was for the effect so we could hear recorded voices of what would have been coal miners back in those days. So we would know how they felt.

Evan cried at those times! I think he was quite scared.

These are the amazing famous chips cooked in beef dripping, that i just had to try.

The chips were put in a cone wrapping as you can see, and we all had batter bits all over the top! Yummy Yummy! Until after the 10th chip or so, then they started to get a bit sickly.

This is where the magic happens in the traditional Fish and Chip Fryer. The chip shop was that small only 2 people could fit inside, so there was a massive queue outside!

Ok so that's part 1 and we are not even half way there yet! Do come back again for more pictures i will be posting very soon ;)
