I love to match things in with my decor so everything ties in right.
Don't get me wrong i don't expect to keep a show home with 2 kids, but i think theres nothing worse than having loads of kids toys about shoved in old boxes and up corners! On show full stop!
I bought this wooden storage box. Its large so it keeps all my sons toys in there perfectly.
It fitted great in the space next to my setee, so we painted the top white (to match the decor of course lol). Then i bought 2 cushions to go on top so it looked more like a seat than a toy box.
When we have visitors come round they always sit on it instead of the sofa most of the time!

Great idea with the toy box...I too have to have everything match my decor and it's really hard to stay organized with four children. I will have to look into a larger toy box!

That's lovely and a good idea not only for hiding toys but other junk that collects and needs hiding :)
This is a good idea... I hate how my kids' toys spill all over the place and aren't camoflauged. I bet it looks nice with the way you've fixed it up.
